A Vase for Pears

Handmade vase sculpted from red-brown clay with grog for texture. Interior glaze for water tightness, while the exterior is left unglazed.

Platforms on each side on which to nestle the ceramic pears included as part of the work. Articulating chains hang from the bottom of the platforms and each secures a tiny bucket.

Inspiration for this design: stone wells, milkmaid’s yokes, foraged fruit.

Each piece is unique with handmade characteristics. You will receive the item pictured. Approximate vase measurements: 7.8” tall, and 4.25” diameter, and 7.5” across at widest point with platforms. Pears are 3” tall by 2” in diameter at base.
